Type 1 diabetes is a difficult disease and daily management can be stressful, but it was a walk in the park yesterday for 40,000 people to share their hopes for a cure for type 1 diabetes.

Kids, mums, dads, workmates, friends, neighbours and grandparents joined together at the Walk to Cure Diabetes to celebrate research progress in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Adelaide, Perth, Geraldton, Albany, the Gold Coast, Bundaberg, Townsville, the Sunshine Coast, Banrock Station, and Mount Gambier.
