Walkers picking up speed
Jordan is relatively new to the type 1 diabetes community – he had his one year diagnosis anniversary last month – but his dedication to raising funds and awareness is very impressive indeed.
Jordan’s life includes all the usual activities of an Aussie kid, footy, riding his bike, as well as playing double bass and piano. He and his family try hard not to let the disease affect him, and mum Karen says proudly that he just gets on with things.

Type 1 diabetes is a difficult disease and daily management can be stressful, but it was a walk in the park yesterday for 40,000 people to share their hopes for a cure for type 1 diabetes.
It’s just one month till the Walk to Cure Diabetes brings together 40,000 Australians with the shared goal of finding a cure for type 1 diabetes. Will you be one of them?
