Jelly Baby Ball 2011 - Masquerade
JDRF is grateful to receive contributions from Gala Balls held annually across Australia. The Gala Balls are a great reminder of JDRF's mission to cure type 1 diabetes. They are supported by both the corporate and type 1 diabetes communities.
Amongst all the glamour and fun, guests make very generous donations through auctions, raffles and our Fund-a-Cure appeal. In this appeal, Youth Ambassadors tell their personal stories at the Balls, in exchange for donations from guests.
The 2011 Jelly Baby Ball was held in May. Invitations for the 2012 Gala Ball will be sent shortly.

Melbourne - The Susan Alberti Charitable Foundation Signature Ball
The Susan Alberti Charitable Foundation Signature Ball is one of Melbourne's most prestigious social calendar events, founded 25 years ago by Susan Alberti, AO, HonLLD, to support fundraising efforts for Australian medical research, namely progress in finding a cure for type 1 (juvenile) diabetes.
The Balls have showcased some of Australia's finest talent with a lineup that included Jessica Mauboy accompanied by musical director Chong Lim and the Chong Lim Orchestra.
In 2012 you can expect top entertainment plus the regular silent auction, live auction and a unique section we call 'Fund a Cure'.
