Type 1 Diabetes Insulin Pump ProgramSupport for Insulin Pumps for Kids

The Type 1 Diabetes Insulin Pump Program is the result of collaboration between the Australian Government and JDRF to provide subsidies for insulin pumps for people under 18 years of age. Since program inception in 2008, the program has provided subsidies for over 400 insulin pumps.

JDRF is sorry to advise that all available government funding for insulin pumps has been spent for the financial year to June 2013.

As a result JDRF is not able to distribute any more subsidies until further funding is released by the Australian Government.

If you have made an application, the status of your application has been recorded.

Please be reassured that JDRF is committed to ongoing discussions with the Department of Health and Ageing with regard to the future of the program.

If you would like more information about the funding of this program, please contact the Department of Health and Ageing.

If you would like any more information about the program, please contact JDRF on pumps@jdrf.org.au or 02 9020 6100.
