Who is JDRF?
The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’s (JDRF) mission is to find a cure for type 1 diabetes and its complications through the support of research. JDRF fund over $60million worth of diabetes research in Australia and have invested over $1billion world-wide. For more information click here.

Support Programs
New to type 1 diabetes? You are not alone – we can help with information and practical advice from JDRF volunteers who have “been there”.

The Family Mentor Program provides parent to parent support by connecting families coping with type 1 diabetes to share advice and experiences as well as keeping them updated on research and activities. Call 1300 363 126 to find out more.

Or call our support line, D1 Connect, on (03) 9696 3866 ext209 from 10:30am on Wednesdays to be connected with one of our experienced volunteers. All D1 Connect volunteers are parents of children with type 1 diabetes.

Research Grants and Funding
